Decorating your office can be expensive, especially if you're looking to stay on trend. Just like fashion trends, office trends can change every few months, so don't spend a fortune on the little things. Go for designer on a discount so you can afford to change them out every year for a fresh look whenever a new trend catchs your eye.

Desk trends typically don't change as often as accessories, so invest in a classic desk that will be chic year after year without pause, like the Turnstone Bivi. I love the Bivi because it comes in a few different varieties, which is great for designing a large office or co-working space.

Emerald is Pantone's Color of the Year, and perfect for offices. The color is so rich and classic, your office will look trendy but still very professional. You can never go wrong with a great lamp and gorgeous wall art. These things are all easy to move and replace to make room for the next Color of the Year.

Neon is everywhere right now, and it a fresh choice for spring and summer! I love the bright colors, it really gives a workspace a cool, fun vibe. Especially if you're working across from someone else, be it your business partner or fellow employee, it's nice to keep things light and not too stuffy.

1. Chevron Pens  2. Teal Chevron Mousepad  3. Chevron Notebook

4. Navy + White Pen Caddy  5. Black Chevron Mousepad

One of my all time very favorite trends is chevron and I love how popular it is at the moment. And because it's so popular, you can find a ton of great things for your office. That way, you can stick with a solid trend, but you don't have to have everything be so matchy-matchy. A big co-working space with look great with a ton of multi colored chevron set ups.

What pieces do you invest in your workspace?
